It's not often that an essentially unused Swan 44 MKII built with no options/extras
becomes available, ready to be customized to your exacting needs.
The new owner of Intrepid purchased her without hesitation in the dead
winter in Marion Massachusetts. The boat was picked-up and delivered
via water to JBY in the middle of March.
After many hours of thorough investigation the owner selected
some of the finest equipment for JBY to install.
Such
as:
A new Espar heater, Technautics freezer, Xantrax inverter/charger,
Jabsco quiet-flush electric heads (plumbed for fresh water),
Spectra running rigging, Harken sail control hardware, microwave oven, complete Clarion entertainment
center, and the Raymarine E-series radar/plotter.
The boat was comminssioned & Re-Launched within two
months during our ever so busy Spring season.
As the owner is from California, He opted to dry-sail the boat out of JBY for the remainder of the 2005 season.
She will be trucked to San Francisco in 2006.
