Winter 2003-04
Baltic 55 "Belle Aurore" continues to maintain and upgrade her
mechanical and electronics systems this winter. Both the main
engine and generator exhaust runs are being replaced, all new AGM
batteries are being fitted, the rudder and steering systems are
being disassembled & overhauled, a water tank is being converted
to fuel, and new communications systems fitted . Her owner has
designed, and JBY carpenters are fitting some custom interior
cabinetry for new entertainment systems and a four-piece champagne/wine rack.
Winter 2002-03
1985 Baltic 55, "Belle Aurore," is taking full advantage of her
first year at JBY. New teak decks are being fitted . Her owner
has specified new custom sail control tracks that are developed
from the most recent America's Cup technology. Along with
other mechanical and rigging upgrades, she should prove to
be a well re-vamped yacht. We look forward to a continued
relationship with both owner and yacht.
